Simple acts of compassion are essential!

Do you have a sister-friend or know someone in your community or circle who finds it challenging to navigate the recent changes in the world? Unfortunately, it has been a lot of a lot.

As an artist and educator,  I am passionate about sharing messages of life, love, and light. Yet, in this season giving, there are so many amongst us who appear to be well but can benefit from friendly check-in.

Since returning to in-person learning, I have witnessed many educators continuously pouring into others and work without pausing to prioritize self-care. Everyone can use a check-in.

When was the last time you paused to let someone know they are seen, heard, and they matter?  Simple acts of compassion are essential!

Begin with a smile, followed by a warm hello, and simply ask, “How are you?” The answers may surprise you, but just creating space to let others know they matter goes a long way. We cannot always fix the challenges, but providing a judgment-free space to share light and listen makes a difference.

I encourage you to connect with a community that allows you to be seen and heard with love as well. Lead the change that you seek.
